Amy Millar Kicks Off Major League Show Jumping of Toronto CSI 5* with a Win for Canada

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – August 17, 2022 – The home riders are proving to be the ones to beat at Major League Show Jumping Toronto CSI 5*…so far. Fresh off her appearance at the 2022 ECCO FEI World Championships in Herning, Denmark, for team Canada, Amy Millar (CAN) led off at Angelstone Tournaments.

She and Christiano, a 2010 Brandenburg gelding (Canoso x Compliment) owned by Future Adventures, topped a roster of 52 in the Pommies Welcome CSI 5*, claiming top honors in the Special Two-Phase Challenge by completing the final section of the 1.45m contest in 31.78 seconds.

Hot on her heels, fellow Canadian team member Erynn Ballard (CAN) took second riding Quilana Denfer for owner Mario Oñate, doing so by leaving all the poles up for no penalties while crossing the final timers in 32.06 seconds.

Nicky Galligan (IRL) and Unique Star rounded out the top three in 32.31 seconds.
