Daniel Deusser Flies the Highest at the Jumping International de Dinard CSI 5*

Dinard, France – July 30, 2022 – The competition continued at the Jumping International de Dinard CSI 5* & CSI 3* last Saturday and the Val Porée equestrian stadium hosted seven classes, four on the sand track and three on the grass field. At the end of the morning session, the riders of the CSI 5* joined the sand, to compete in the A scale on time, a speed event sponsored by Conseil municipal de Dinard.

Out of the thirty-four couples entered in this event, only six managed to complete a clear round and it was the German Daniel Deusser (GER) and Kiana Van Het Herdershofwho was the fastest, flying over the 1.50m obstacles set up on the course designed by Jean-François Morand (FRA) with ease.

The German and the 2010 bay Belgian Warmblood mare (Toulon x Lys de Darmen) In 63.15, with , he was ahead of the world number two, Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), who guided Iliana across the finish line in 65.52 seconds.

The third spot on the podium was claimed by the Irishman Bertram Allen (IRL) and his Selle Français Empoli de Champloue (Arko x Diamant de Semilly), doing so just shy of 66 seconds flat.
