Leprévost is Lightning Fast to Win €25,500 Speed Challenge CSI 2* at Valkenswaard

Valkenswaard, Netherlands – July 09, 2022 – Showjumping jumping took center stage last Saturday at Tops International Arena and the French anthem was played to honor top French rider Pénélope Leprévost (FRA) Verite Une Prince (Number One d’Iso x Rosire).

Twenty-three of the 48 combinations who took parth in the 1.45m cleared all the fences and completed the course without having any time penalties attributed but Leprevost and the 13-year-old chestnut Selle Français mare (Number One D’Iso x DS Rosire) were lightning fast, securing the win in 61.19 seconds.

Pénélope’s feat was enhanced by the fact that she beat one of the fastest riders in the world, Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA), who rode Vasco (Vivant x Chacco-Blue) towards second-place in 61.43 seconds.

Third place was claimed by German Tobias Meyer (GER) and Frieda (Stakkato Gold x Dunntroon) after crossing the finish line in 61.78 seconds.
