Jordan Coyle & Centriko Volo Fly to the Top in $37,500 McNerney Family Cup CSI 2*

Spruce Meadows, Calgary, Alberta, Canada – July 08, 2022 – It was a busy day on the North American Ring at Spruce Meadows with three competitions spanning the three different divisions . The $37,500 McNerney Family Cup CSI 2* was next up on the North American Ring. Fifty-four horse/rider combinations tackled the track laid out by FEI Course Designer Anthony d’Ambrosio (USA). Only seven posted clear first rounds to advance to the jump off. Jordan Coyle (IRL) aboard the 10-year-old bay Oldenburg gelding Centriko Volo ((Centadel x Chacco-Blue), sailing through the finish line in a time of 40.44s to secure their trip to the winner’s circle.

Perhaps the most consistent rider of the Summer Series at the venue, Matthew Sampson (GBR) had another podium finish. This time the British rider guided Curraghgraigue Obos Flight – 0 / 0 – 40.51

Jose Alberto Martinez Vazquez (MEX) and Easy Blue also left all the poles up for no penalties in their two performances, completing the second one in 41.68 for bronze honors.
