Sopot, Poland – June 10, 2022 – France continued to shine on Friday at the 2022 edition of the CSIO Sopot at the Hipodrom Sopot. After the win by his compatriot the day before, it was Julien Gonin (FRA) who teamed up with Caprice de Guinfard to claim top honors in the PLN $20,000 Pocztex Prize CSIO 5*.
Despite being the fastest amongst the 32 combinations who took part in the 1.45m speed chalenge, Gonin and the 10-year-old chestnut Selle Français gelding (Mylord Carthago x Socrate de Chivre) managed to keep all the poles up, securing the win in 65.23 seconds.

A pleasant surprise on the podium, Samy Colman (MAR) guided Galoubet L (Baloubet du Rouet x Quite Easy) towards silver honors, registering no penalties in 65.49 seconds.

Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) rode Chaka Chaka 3 (Casall x Contender) across the finish line in 68.26 seconds after a clean performance, thus earning the third spot on the podium.
