Nations Cup of France CSIO 5*: Order of Teams Defined for the Ball at La Baule this Friday!

La Baule, France – May 05, 2022 – At the end of the Prix FFE, which closed the CSIO5* de France on Thursday, May 5, was held the draw for the running order ofay 0 the teams competing in the Nations Cup – Ville de La Baule on Friday, May 6. The draw made by Pierre de Brissac, president of the Jumping international de La Baule – Officiel de France, and César Hirsch, foreign judge, in the presence of René Billardon, president of the jury of the CSIO5* of France, gave the following result:

2- Switzerland
3- Brazil
4- Belgium
5- Sweden
6- Canada
7- Germany
8- Italy


The French team, led by the national coach Henk Nooren, will open the ball.

CSIO5* de France The French in Good Spirits

The morning of this first day of competition was reserved to the classes of the CSIO5* de France. The French couples showed their good form with a victory and several placings on the podium. The Institut Esthederm class (1.40 m) was won by the Italian Filippo Bologni (ITA) and his Selle Français stallion Quidich de la Chavée, ahead of Laurent Goffinet (FRA) and his son of Diamant de Semilly, Absolut de Lacke. The French Mégane Moissonier (FRA) and her Selle Français horse Daisy Top Gery came 3rd.

In the Département Loire-Atlantique class (1.45 m), Mathieu Billot (FRA) and H (10-year-old KWPN) made the Marseillaise ring out. The Belgian Grégory Wathelet (BEL) took the 2nd place with Ace of Hearts (Irish stallion). Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) placed 3rd with Citadin du Chatellier (Selle Français).

The FFE class (1.50 m) which concluded the competition of the CSIO5* de France of this Thursday, and was a qualifier for the Rolex Grand Prix – Ville de La Baule, was won by the German Daniel Deusser (GER) and his BWP mare Kiana Van Het Her-dershof. The Belgian Jérôme Guéry (BEL) and Margriet de Mariposa (by Nabab de Rêve and Flora de Mariposa) are 2nd in front of the French Robin Lesqueren (FRA) and Dorado de Riverland (9 years old Selle Français).
