Grimaud, France – April 30, 2022 – Highlight of this third day of competition at the Hubside Jumping Grimaud-Golfe de Saint Tropez, the CSI 5* class presented by Celside was claimed the Austrian Max Kühner (AUT). Winner at the end of a ten-man jump-off thanks to his gelding Up Too Jacco Blue, he beat the Italian Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) with Nikolaj de Music and the Israeli Robin Muhr (ISR) in the saddle on Action Bellevue PS. Best French rider, Julien Anquetin finished fifth in the event.

Winner’s Circle – Max Kühner (AUT)

“It was an interesting event and the jump-off was very fast tonight. I have been riding Up Too Jacco Blue for two years now. At the beginning he had little experience and he is just starting to be quite fast in jump-offs. In the last 5*, he was ranked second in this same class so I’m really happy to see him win today. It’s a nice revenge. Tomorrow, I will be riding Eic Coriolis des Isles in the Grand Prix. He’s a French horse in which I believe a lot. He is progressing very well and was sixth yesterday. Hubside Jumping is still on my program because these competitions are great opportunities for us to train horses. I have, for example, six horses here this weekend which is much more than during a usual CSI5*. In Grimaud, we can compete in the major classes but also help all the horses to progress and this is very important to us. We are still in excellent condition.”
