Fontainebleau, France – April 25, 2022 – Lily Attwood (GBR) and Cor-Leon V. Vlierbeek Z stole the spotlight at Le Printemps des Sports Équestres – Fontainebleau CSI 4* with their triumph in the €100,000 GL Events Grand Prix CSI 4* on Sunday to conclude a great week of top sport at Le Grand Parquet.

In fact, the young British star and the 2010 bay Zangersheide gelding (Calvaro F.C. x Omar) had already won the €30,000 Prix Ville de Fontainebleau CSI 4*, a 1.50m speed challenge last Thursday. The dynamic duo blazed towards top honors in the feature class of the week, beating three other French combinations in tiebreaker, producing a penalty-free performance in 36.25 seconds.
It was a very tight contest amongst the top two combinations on the podium as Olivier Perreau (FRA) and GL Events Venizia d’Aiguilly (Diamant de Semilly x Quick Star) were nipped by only eight-hundredths of a second.
Edward Levy (FRA) and Uno de Cerisy (Open Up Semilly x Siego) produced the fastest performance in the jump-off but their time of 35.98 seconds came at the expense of one pole down and four penalty-points, resulting in third-place honors by the speedy duo.
