Oliva Nova, Spain – April 23, 2022 – Jérôme Guery (BEL) and Margriet de Mariposa teamed up to win Saturday’s feature class, the Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Trophy CSI 2*at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour. The 1.45m Longines Ranking class featured 51 combinations but the Belgian and the 2012 bay Belgian Warmblood mare (Nabab de Reve x For Pleasure) were supreme in the tiebreaker, registering the faster of only two clean performances in the tibreaker, doing so in 42.68 seconds.
Cayetano Martinez de Irujo (ESP) and Dearest Diamond RS (Diamant de Semilly) posted the only other penalty-free jump-off effort, claiming reserve honors in 46.51 seconds.
Castora Ortiz Aguero (ESP) and Robinson (Chintan x Conthargos) had one pole down for a score of four penalty-points, nevertheless their time of 43.59 seconds was good enough to secure them the third spot one the podium.
