Dominique Hendrickx & Floris TN Fly to First at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour CSI 4*

Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – March 26, 2022 – Another great victory in the Andalucía Sunshine Tour for Dominique Hendrickx (BEL) in a numerous jump-off for which a total of 17 combinations of the 80 registered in the test qualified. The Belgian rider, 154th in the World Ranking and a regular at the Lanaken World Championships, gave a real recital with ‘Floris TN‘, a twelve-year-old KWPN stallion son of ‘Quality Time TN‘ x ‘Vancouver‘, completing the tiebreaker of this test sponsored by the Diputación Provincial de Cádiz in 39.02 seconds. His horse was bred in Holland by H. Breukink, Vorden and is currently owned by Jamal Rahimov and Karina Rotenberg.

This binomial started working together just a few months ago, specifically in November and they had their first important date here in Montenmedio. A participation that they have solved with great solvency, especially in this last week, since last Thursday they had achieved third position in the Big Tour 1.50 to which they add today’s important victory. In addition, the jockey had already achieved two important first places: in the Small Grand Prix in the third week and in one of the Rankings last week, in addition to numerous successes with the young horses. Great results therefore for the Belgian in this edition of the Circuit.

Marcus Westergren (SWE) & Hurry Up G

Second was Sweden’s Marcus Westergren (SWE) with ‘Hurry Up G‘ (Bernini x Berlin), who came close to Hendrickx’s time but failed to beat him.

Ellen Whitaker (GBR) & Spacecake

While Ellen Whitaker (GBR) with ‘Spacecake‘ (Stakkatol x Kannan) was in third position. The renowned French rider Penelope Leprevost (FRA) with ‘GFE Candy de Nantuel‘ was fourth and the Danish Tina Lund (DEN) with ‘Carallo‘ completed the positions of honor.

All of them participated in an emotional awards ceremony presided over by the president of the Provincial Council of Cádiz, Irene García, who was accompanied by the provincial deputy for Culture, Antonio González, and the provincial deputy for Sports, Jaime Closet.
