
Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – March 12, 2022 – The French rider Penélope Leprevost (FRA), one of the best riders of all time ranked 57th in the Longines FEI Ranking and three times Olympian, has achieved an impressive victory in the Andalusian Grand Prix, a test sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Regeneration , Justice and Local Administration of the Junta de Andalucía, through Tourism and Sports of Andalusia.
Accompanied by the entire ‘GFE Excalibur de la Tour Vidal‘ (Ugano Sitte x Ogano Sitte), the French rider was the last to go out on the track of the four groups classified for the jump-off of this demanding test in which the 50 best riders took part of the week. Only 35.92 seconds was spent by the binomial in completing this route, which up to that moment only the house rider, Armando Trapote, had managed to complete without knocking down

Finally, Trapote (ESP) riding ‘Tornado VS‘, an eleven-year-old son of Toulon x Contender owned by Yeguada Valbanera, obtained a meritorious silver.

While the Brazilian Felipe Amaral (BRA) with ‘Androide 3K‘ (VDL Zirocco Blue) took the bronze. Amaral, first to dispute the jump-off, set the best time of the race, but a knockdown took him away from victory.
