Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – March 10, 2022 – Irish Olympic jockey Billy Twomey (IRL) won today’s Big Test with ‘Frenchy VDS‘, a Cornet Obolensky x Quidam de Revel mare. His time of 59.24 seconds was the fastest of the 70 competitors who took part in the 1.50m jump on the David Broome main green course. His compatriot Eoin Gallagher (IRL) took second place with ‘Over Lux‘, while the Brazilian Pedro Veniss (BRA), winner of the Grand Prix of the second week of the Andalucía Sunshine Tour, was third in this test with ‘Boeckmannns Lord Pezi Junior‘. The Swedish Marcus Westergren (SWE) with ‘Astree de Burgo‘ and the Czech Sara Vingralkova (CZE) with ‘Mega Special DC‘ completed the leading positions of the first Grand Prix of the week, which is also a qualifier for the Andalusian Grand Prix to be held next Sunday. .
