
Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – February 27, 2022 – In the second most important test of the day, the €30,720 Medium Tour Grand Prix CSI 4*, the famous French rider Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) with ‘Ballerine du Vilpion’ (Baloubet du Rouet x Quidam de Revel) were the winners of the test, winning a tiebreaker disputed by 18 combinations.
The Frenchman and the 11-year-old chestnut Selle Français mare (Baloubet du Rouet x Quidam de Revel) beat off the other 17 other combinations in the jump-off of this 1.50m class by scoring two clean efforts, the decisive one in 36.13 seconds.

The winners stopped the timers a mere one-tenth of a second faster than the Danish rider, Emil Hallundbaek (DEN) with ‘High Nitro’ (VDL Empire x Cobra) who were right on their heels. Hallundbaek put on a valiant final performance in 36.23 seconds.

Sameh El Dahan (GBR) rode ‘Wicked Enigma’ towards bronze honors, leaving all the poles up in their two performances too, securing the third spot on the podium after their jump-off time of 37.71 seconds.
