Julien Epaillard & Solero MS Soar to First at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 3*

Oliva Nova, Spain -January 25, 2022 – Julien Epaillard (FRA) has been the “King” of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 3* for quite some time and although the Flying Frenchman was once again challenged by his fellow countryman Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) and the result was the same as most of the time. Epaillard rode Solero MS to win the €25,500 Dammann Reitplatz Trophy CSI 3* on Friday afternoon at the cozy venue.

Epaillard guided the 15-year-old chestnut Hanoverian (Silvio I x Espri) completed the two-phase challenge flawlessly, clearing all the 1.45m obstacles before crossing the final timers in 29.72 seconds.

Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) and Citadin du Chatellier (L’Arc de Triomphe x Diamant de Semilly) did the best they could to win, this time finishing second in 31.64 seconds.

French domination continued as Alexis Lheureux (FRA) rode Havanabalia Grand Moustier Z D (Hoegie Van’T Bergske x Acaletto) towards bronze honors, registering no penalties and completing the second phase in 33.24 seconds.
