
Vilamoura, Portugal – February 04, 2022 – Once again, Laura Renwick (GBR) was back in the winner’s circle on Thursday at the VillaMoura Equestrian Centre. The Brit dashed for the cash in the €25,500 VillaMoura Jump-off Challenge CSI 3*, claiming top honors aboard Dublin V.
A total of 45 combinations lined-up to enter the ring of the Francisco Moura Arena but it was Renwick and the 2008 chestnut Dutch Warmblood gelding (Vigaro x Calvados / Sable Rose) who raced home as victors, doing so flawlessly in 35.52 seconds.
After finishing third in the €25,500 Speed Challenge CSI 3* the previous day, Niels Kersten (NED) climbed one spot higher onto the podium, riding Thuur Z (Tyson x Flipper D’Elle*Hn*) towards two penalty-free performances, conquering silver honors in 36.59 seconds.
The level of the class was highlighted by the presence of Kevin Staut (FRA), who secured a third place aboard Dialou Blue PS (Diarado’s Boy x Chacco-Blue), registering no penalties and a jump-off time of 36.72 seconds.
