Pizarro Power! Nicolas Pizarro Bookends the Podium of the Otomí Grand Prix CSI 2*

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico – January 22, 2022 – Nicolas Suarez Pizarro Martinez (MEX) was unstoppable last weekend during the MXN $1,105,250 Otomí Grand Prix CSI 2* at the Otomí Club Hípico. The Mexican posted four excellent penalty-free performances, not only claiming the win but also a third-place finish in the Otomí Grand Prix CSI 2*.

A total of 28 combinations challenge the first round course with obstacles set at 1.45/1.50 meters high, with ten of them advancing to the jump-off. Nicolas rode Mike Wazowski towards the win while guiding Oak’s Grove Enkidu for bronze honors. The winning jump-off performance aboard the 10-year-old Hanoverian stallion (Balou du Reventon x Centadel) was completed in 41.37 seconds while the ride for bronze honors was timed at 44.85 seconds.

Claudia Lorenza O’Farrill (MEX) & Queen’s Darling

Claudia Lorenza O’Farrill (MEX) and Queen’s Darling (Quidam’s Rubin x Concetto) earned reserve honors backed two penalty-free efforts too, the decisive one in 44.67 seconds.
