Opglabbeek, Belgium – January 16, 2022 – Pius Schwizer (SUI) and WH Delilah powered to victory in the Hippomundo Grand Prix CSI 2* on Sunday at Sentower Park. A total of 63 combinations entered the ring for the 1.45m jump-off challenge with 16 of them advancing to the tiebreaker.
Seven combinations registered a double clear with Schwizer and the 2011 bay Holsteiner (AHHA) mare (Boritas x Love Affair) coming out on top by being the quickest, stopping the jump-off timers in 35.11 seconds.
Leopold van Asten (NED) and VDL Groep Nino du Roton (Iron Man van de Padenborre x Codex) gave the eventual winners a run for their money, finishing second only due to their final time of 35.44 seconds.
Max Kühner (AUT) and EIC Cooley Jump the Q (Pacino x Obos Quality 004) were a bit further back, rounding out the top three in 36.25 seconds.
