Copenhagen, Denmark – January 13, 2022 – Hallundbaek Stables has announced the passing away of Jørgen Hallundbæk. Besides being a passionate equestrian, Mr. Hallunbaek was a prominent businessman having acted as the founder, CEO & President of Welltec, an international provider of robotic well solutions for the oil and gas industry, known for its flagship “Well Tractor”.
The renowned Danish family made the following statement on Hallundbæk Stables’ facebook account:
“Our dear husband and father, Jørgen Hallundbæk (DEN) is no longer with us … Jørgen was before anything, a brilliant visionary, and a loving husband and father. A businessman and horseman with an immense passion, and his love for horses, breeding, the sport, and his dear family will be vividly remembered. After a long battle with mental illness, the fight against the demons sadly came to a loss.
We sincerely appreciate the overwhelming compassion, love, and respect to honor Jørgen Hallundbæk’s memory”
The funeral will take place Thursday 20th January – 11.00 Vinderød Church, Kirkevej 13, 3300 Frederiksværk, Denmark
