Wellington, Florida, USA – January 06, 2021 – Despite being winter time in the northern hemisphere and still not featuring FEI-rated classes, the heat is on at the Sunshine State as some of the best in the world have gathered for the first week of competition during the 2022 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, Florida, USA, and the 2022 Ocala Winter Spectacular at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) in Ocala, Florida, USA.
There are still 2 FEI-level shows in Europe but the cancellation of the Longines CHI Classics Basel 5* due to the pandemic has certainly disappointed equestrian fans this first week of the year.
