La Coruña, Spain – December 12, 2021 – It’s showtime for showjumping during the 2021/2022 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup – Western European League with the running of the fifth leg of the series, the €300,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup of La Coruña, presented by CaixaBank, starting at today at 17:00 at the Casas Novas Equestrian Centre.
Philippaerts power! One of the most traditional family names in the sport, it will be a special day for the Philippaerts family as Ludo Philippaerts (BEL) takes part in his first World Cup event since returning back from retirement, joining sons Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) and Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) against the likes of Marcus Ehning (GER), Simon Delestre (FRA), Julien Epaillard (FRA), Pieter Devos (BEL), Maikel van der Vleuten (NED), Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP), Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (ESP), Denis Lynch (IRL), Lorenzo de Luca (ITA), Eduardo Menezes (BRA), Pius Schwizer (SUI), amongst others, in what promises to be a thriller right to the wire.
