
Thermal, California, USA – December 04, 2021 – It was a busy Saturday during the first week of the Desert Holiday. One of the important classes of the day was held on the grass arena, the $36,600 1.45m Speed CSI 5*, sponsored by Marshall & Sterling. Of the 25 entries, it was Jacqueline Steffens (CAN) and the Eye Candy Jumpers entry, Cat Ninja, who emerged victorious after a clear and fast round, stopping the timers with over four seconds to spare over the second place finishers. The Canadian and the 13-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood mare (VDL Zirocco Blue x Corland) crossed the finish line in 68.92 seconds at the end of their penalty-free performance.
Kaitlin Campbell (USA) on Feyon (Zazou R x Hamilton), owned by SWS Training and Sales secured silver honors in 73.03 seconds while the third spot on the podium was claimed Chandler Meadows (USA) and her own Zamia 3 (Aljano 2 x Dream of Glory) completed the podium in 75.91 seconds.
