Oliva Nova, Spain – November 27, 2021 – Thiago Ribas da Costa (BRA) and Kinky Van’T Heike topped the €25,700 Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Trophy CSI 2* last Saturday during the first week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour‘s Autumn MET III at Oliva Nova.

The Brazilian guided the 2010 chestnut Belgian Warmblood mare (Epleaser Van T Heike x Grandeur) masterfully through both the first round and jump-off course, clearing all the obstacles before set the winning mark of 32.84 seconds.

Matthew Sampson (GBR) and Geneve R (Eldorado Vd Zeshoek x Berlin) matched the clean scorecard registered by the eventual winners, earning silver honors in 33.96 seconds.

The third spot on the podium was claimed Soren Pedersen (DEN) and Chico Z (Clinton 1 x Quantum), finishing only three-hudredths off the jump-off pace of the latter two.
