Bryan Balsiger & Don Juan 111 Z are the Best in €25,400 Hubside Jump-Off Challenge CSI 3*

Valence, France – November 26, 2021 – Bryan Balsiger (SUI), European team champion, won the feature class of the day during the first week of the inaugural edition of the Hubside Jumping Winter Tour. The young Swiss teamed up with Don Juan 111 Z, reigning supreme in the €25,400 Hubside Jump-Off Challenge CSI 3*.

The class that counted for the Longines world ranking featured 25 combinations over a course with obstacles set at 1.45m obstacles. Associated with the 2011 Zangersheide gelding (Der Senaat 11 x Carthago Z), the prodigy secured the win in 33.76 seconds.

Jur Vrieling (NED) & Chabada de L’Esques

Perhaps the most consistent rider of the week so far, Dutchman Jur Vrieling (NED), once again in the saddle on Chabada de L’Esques posted two clean performances too, being time at 34.48 seconds at the end of their tiebrear effort.

Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida (POR) & Echos Son Z

Portuguese Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida (POR) finished third at the helm of Echos Son Z (Echo Van’T Spieveld x Nabab de Reve), doing so only three-hundredths of a second behind the latter two.
