Vilamoura, Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – November 19, 2021 – A great weekkend of top level action got underway last Friday with the running of the €51,250 Garvetur Properties Grand Prix CSIO 3*, one of the two feature attractions of the last week of the 2021 Vilamoura Champions Tour. In the end and as several times throughout the circuit, it was a British victory as James Wilson (GBR) and Imagine de Muze claimed the jackpot.

Out of 60 combinations, only cleared all the 1.50m obstacles on the course designed by Elio Travagliati (ITA), thus 10 reaching the jump-off. The Brit and the 2008 black Belgian Warmblood mare (Nabab de Reve x Chin Chin) were able to only 37,66 seconds.

Linda Heed (SWE) and Decurio (Diarado x Cornet Obolensky) were the closest ones, matching the double clear of the eventual winners, finishing second only due to their jump-off time of 38.20 seconds.

Sophie Hinners (GER) and Concordia 49 (Colorit x San Patrignano Cassini) completed their second penalty-free effort in 38.50 seconds, thus earning bronze honors.
