
La Silla, Monterrey, Mexico – November 12, 2021 – Michael Cristofoletti and Lezaro lit up to win the $555,000 Reserva de la Familia Prize CSI 2* last Friday during the eighth leg of the 2021 Major League Show Jumping, held simultaneously during the La Silla CSI 5* & 2*.
The Italian and the 10-year-old bay Oldenburg gelding (Böckmann’s Lord Pezi x Landadel) sped to victory in the speed challenge, not only overcoming all the 1.45m obstacles but also 70 other combinations after completing their clean performance in 62.96 seconds.
Natalie Dean (USA) and Maestro Vica v/d Ark (Lordanos x Heartbreaker) registered the second-fastest penalty-free effort of the contest, earning silver honors.
Known as one of the fastest riders in the circuit, Ashlee Bond (ISR) rode Boheme de Fleyres (Vargas de Ste. Hermelle x Easy Boy) completed the podium, being only five-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
