Andreas Schou Pulls Out All the Aces to Win €51,250 Grand Prix of Vilamoura CSI 3*

Vilamoura, Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – November 07, 2021 – Andreas Schou (DEN) pulled out all the aces to win the €51,250 Grand Prix of Vilamoura CSI 3* on Sunday during the final day of the 2021 Vilamoura Champions Tour at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.

The Danish rider teamed up with Indepedent, a 2011 dark bay Swedish Warmblood gelding, registering the fastest time amongst the three combinations that had a clean scorecard in the jump-off of the 1.50m class, securing the win in 41.54 seconds.

Sophie Hinners (GER) and Concordia 49 (Colorit x San Patrignano Cassini ) were not too far behind the pace of the eventual winners, earning reserve honors in 41.86 seconds.

Once again, Great Britain saw one of their own climb onto the podium, this time with Nicole Pavitt (GBR) guiding Madagascar Dwerse Hagen (Va-Vite x Diabeau) in 43.72 seconds.
