Valkenswaard United Lead the Chase for the 2021 Global Champions League Title

Valkenswaard, The Netherlands – October 05, 2021 –  After the 13th stage of the Global Champions League (GCL) last month in Rome, the Valkenswaard United have jumped ahead of the pack in the title chase, having registered 277 points until then, a lead of 21 points over the Shanghai Swans. The latter team has tallied a total of 256 so far this season for the second spot on the leaderboard.  The race is tight among the top three squads, with the Paris Panthers only 3 points behind the team from China.

There’s much more than the championship on the line at the doubleheader of Šamorín, as both the London Knights and Berlin Eagles look to make some ground for top three finish at the end of the season. The team from the English capital is in fourth place but the Eagles have their vision set on higher flights too.
