
Gorla Minore, Italy – October 03, 2021 – Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Billabong du Roumous were the stars of the week, leaving the competition in the dust in the €51,500 Kep Italia Grand Prix CSI 3*, held last Sunday on the final day of the Milano Jumping Challenge CSI 3* at the Equieffe Equestrian Centre.
The Flying Frenchman was up to his old tricks, this time claiming top honors aboard the 10-year-old chestnut Selle Français gelding (Mylord Carthago x Papillon Rouge*Normandie), blazing across the finish line in 41.39 seconds for the victory.
Marco Pellegrino (ITA) and Vick du Croisy (Lord Carthago x Vondeen) took home second place. They also registerred a double clear, securing silver honors in 45.24 seconds.
Marcus Westergren (SWE) and Hurry Up G (Bernini x Berlin) completed the top three backed by a penalty-free jump-off effort in 46.04 seconds.
