Aachen, Germany โ September 17, 2021 โ Some jumping competitions are only staged at the CHIO Aachen, for example the โฌ30,000 Prize of Soers CSIO 5*, the jumping competition over ditches and banks. The winner in 2021: Sanne Thijssen.
In the Prize of Soers, the show jumpers take on the role of eventers slightly, because part of the obstacles like the Coffin and the Billard are solid fences. Furthermore, they ride through the big pond. Sanne Thijssen (NED) from the Netherlands with her Zangersheide mare, Tippy Z, proved to be the most courageous and the fastest today. Tippy is a Tyson daughter, the former top horse of Sanneโs father, Leon Thijssen. Tippy did her father justice today, since she was the only horse to cross the finish line in under 60 seconds.
Martin Fuchs (SUI) came second with the Selle Franรงais gelding, Tam Tam du Valon. Their time: 62.76 seconds. Third place went to David Will (GER) riding his nine-year-old mare, Concordia (63.08 seconds).
