Toronto, Canada – August 22, 2021 – After settling for a tie with Shane Sweetnam (IRL) on Friday, Daniel Bluman (ISR) rode Ubiluc to claim top honors in the $217,000 Cabana Coast Grand Prix CSI 5* during the final day of Major League Show Jumping at Angelstone Tournaments.
Bluman (ISR) guided the 9-year-old Mecklenburg stallion (Ubiko x Lucian) to the horse’s not only first CSI 5* victory, but also a Grand Prix win. The duo overcame 9 other combinations in the jump-off, clearing all the obstacles before speeding across the finish line in 36.95 seconds.

Once again, Daniel Bluman (ISR) and Shane Sweetnam (IRL) battled for first place, but a tie was not the result this time. The Irishman settled for second on Karlin van’t Vennehof (Fantomas de Muze x Quasimodo vd Molendreef), the only difference being their final time of 37.01 seconds.

Brianne Goutal-Marteau (USA) took third aboard Viva Colombia (Couleur-Rubin x Landor S), registering no penalties too, completing their second performance in 37.73 seconds.
The top four riders produced a double clear. Bliss Heers (USA) followed in fourth with Antidote de Mars (Diamant de Semilly) while Adrienne Sternlicht (USA) and Bennys Legacy (Lupicor) completed the top five.
