Tokyo, Japan – August 05, 2021 – Once again, it’s showtime for showjumping at the Olympic Games! The Team Jumping Qualifier is on right now! The stage is set for the battle amongst 57 riders, from 19 different nations, all in pursuit of gold and glory in one of the most prestigious competitions of the noble sport. As in the individual competition, Santiago Varela (ESP) has set up a challenging a course featuring 14 obstacles (17 elements) at the height of 1.65 meters, requiring combinations to travel at the speed of 400 meters per minute over a track of 545 meters in order to complete it within the time allowed of 82 seconds.
