Conor Swail & Theo 160 Top the $25,000 Sunday Classic at Tryon

Mill Spring, North Carolina, USA – July 28, 2021 – Conor Swail (IRL) has been the most dominant rider throughout the Tryon Summer Series and the Irishman added another blue ribbon to his collection, topping the $25,000 Sunday Classic with Theo 160 last Sunday morning at the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) & Resort in Mill Spring, North Carolina, USA.

The Irishman and the 9-year-old Holsteiner gelding (Christian 25 x Calando IV) overcame 26 other combinations in the jump-off challenge, advancing to and completing the decisive phase without having any penalties attributed to them, still managing to register the fastest time among the 6 pairs battle it out at the end, being time in 32.813 seconds.

Cady Klimas (USA) and Celtic Lady M2S were the runners-up, matching the double clear of the eventual winners while crossing the finish line in 34.569 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Eliza Lehrman (USA) and Sierra rounded out the top three, backed by a clean scorecard too, completing their second effort in 36.803 seconds.
