Michel Robert & Emerette Lead All-French Podium in €33,500 Departement de L’Ain Prize CSI 4*

Bourg-en-Bresse, France – May 22, 2021 – After winning the main class of each of the two previous days, French domination continued on Saturday at the Jumping International de Bourg-en-Bresse CSI 4*. In fact, a familiar duo rose to the top of the podium as Michel Robert (FRA) and Emerette triumphed in the €33,500 Departement de L’Ain Prize CSI 4*.

Winners of the €26,100 Conseil Regional Auvergne Rhône Alpes last Thursday, the Frenchman once again teamed up with the 12-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood mare (Diarado x Almerette), advancing to and completing the jump-off challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, crossing the finish ling in 35.48 seconds at the end of their peformance in the tiebreaker.

Aymeric de Ponnat (FRA) and Elize (Bamako de Muze x Nabab de Reve) matched the double clear of the eventual winners, registering the second-fastest jump-off effort among the 8 combinations that had qualified for the decisive phase. The duo secured second place with a final of 35.84 seconds.

Roger Yves Bost & Bluemuch Des Baleines

For the third day in a row, France put three riders on the podium. Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) and Bluemuch des Baleines (Chacco-Blue x Clinton) posted two clean performances, the second one in 36.19 seconds for bronze honors.
