
Arezzo, Italy – April 18, 2021 – Jane Richard Philips (SUI) was back in the winner’s circle this weekend in Italy. The Swiss rider and Clipper du Haut du Roy claimed victory in the crown jewel class of the week, €28,000 Grand Prix CSI 2* at the Arezzo Equestrian Centre.

Riding the 13-year-old Belgian Sport Horse gelding (Flipper d’Elle x Puccini), Philips overcame all the 1.45m obstacles along the way in her two performances, securing the victory in 39.77 seconds in the tiebreaker.
The host nation came close to a victory, but had to settle for second place. Marco Pellegrino (ITA) rode Vick du Croisy (Lord Carthago x Vondeen) towards silver honors, matching the double clear while registering a final time of 40.16 seconds.
Urh Bauman (SLO) and Larisal earned bronze honors despite having a rail down and four penalty-points in the jump-off, crossing the timers in 46.88 seconds.
