Keri Potter & Toscana Top Gold Tour Two-Phase Challenge at Rancho Mission Viejo

San Juan de Capistrano, California, USA – April 01, 2021 – The highlight events of second week of the Blenheim Spring Classic was the highly anticipated West Coast Gold Tour. Renowned Olympic course designer Leopoldo Palacios (VEN) built a 1.45m track and two 1.50m courses for the Gold Tour exhibitors in the grass Derby Field at the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park.

On Wednesday, twelve horse and rider pairings battled it out in the $7,500 1.45m Gold Tour Two-Phase with Keri Potter (USA) and Toscana set the pace winning the $7,500 1.45m Gold Tour Two-Phase, advancing and completing the second part of the challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, stopping the final timers in 25.395 seconds.

Matt Archer (USA) and Luigi vd Bisschop (Bamako de Muze x Nabab de Reve) were the closest ones, finishing second after completing the second phase flawlessly in in 25.952 seconds.

Kyle King (USA) and Enzo (Verdi TN x Amethist) complete the all-American podium, crossing the finish line in 27.045 seconds.
