Brilliant Brash & Hello Jefferson Jump to Victory on the Final Day of the LGCT of Doha CSI 5*

Doha, Qatar – March 6, 2021 – After winning the €148,500 Jump-off Challenge CSI 5* the day before aboard Hello Vincent, Scott Brash (GBR) came back to register a win on the final day of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Doha CSI 5* at Al Shaqab Equestrian Center. The Brit teamed up with Hello Jefferson to win the €95,000 Speed Challenge CSI 5*.

Brash guided the 12-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Cooper vd Heffinck x Irco Mena) over all the 1.55m obstacles before registering the fastest time of 70.23 seconds to claim the lion’s share of the jackpot.

Peder Fredricsson (SWE) and Hansson WL (Hip Hop x Iowa) were right on the heels of the winners, finishing less than three-tents of a second slower, a mark that would earn them silver honors.

The difference between the runners-up and the third-place finishers was even tighter. Another Swede complete the podium as Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) rode King Edward (Edward 28 x Feo) across the finish line in 70.66 seconds.
