Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – February 14, 2021 – Grégory Bodo (FRA) was in charge of designing the first important 1.50m CSI 4* class of the 27th Sunshine Tour. The French designer set up a challenging 1.50m speed course which many of the riders met with clear rounds. However, German rider David Will (GER) was once again extremely fast around the course and for the second week straight week topped Thursday’s most important class riding the gelding Forest Gump 29.
The German and the 15-year-old Oldenburg gelding (Forsyth x Feuerwerk) were clearly at their best on the main grass arena named after David Broome, registering no penalties while tripping the timers in 64.88 seconds for the victory.
In second place was the Irish rider Michael G. Duffy (IRL), who rode ‘My Way B.&V. (Nabab de Reve) flawlessly across the finish line in 67.90 seconds.
Turkish rider Derin Demirsoy (TUR) claimed the third spot on the podium. Demirsoy has had a great week here so far, this time guiding Dadjak ter Puttenen (Toulon x Vanitas) towards bronze honors in 68 seconds flat.
