Jérôme Guery & Grupo Prom Milton Gallop for Gold in €30,250 Medium Tour Grand Prix CSI 3*

Vejer de la Frontera, Spain – February 14, 2021 – Jérôme Guery (BEL), was foot perfect winning two of the most prestigious classes of the day on Sunday, both of which were FEI Longines Ranking classes as part of the first week of the Sunshine Tour.

In the morning, the Belgian rode Grupo Prom Milton to victory in the €30,250 Medium Tour Grand Prix CSI 3*. By pure chance this class was held in the Milton arena which coincides with the name of the winning horse.

Having been teamed up with José Alfredo Hernández’s 10-year-old Zangersheide stallion (Mylord Carthago x Sandro Boy) for a year now, the dynamic duo registered two penalty-free efforts before crossing the finish line in 33.92 seconds for the victory.

Another Belgium rider claimed second place as Dominique Hendrickx (BEL) guided Floris TN  (Quality Time x Vancouver) flawlessly in both rounds, earning silver honors with a time of 34.57 seconds during the tiebreaker.

One of the most consistent riders in the first week of the event with several top-three finishes and placings, Richard Vogel (GER) was back on the podium again, this time aboard Alentejo (Nartago x Skippy II). The pair also posted a clean scorecard, being only three-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
