Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain – January 29, 2021- Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) and H&M Legend of Love powered past the competition and towards victory in Friday’s €26,400 Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 3* during the third week of the Spring MET I at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour.

The Belgian guided Team Philippaerts’ 15-year-old German Sport Horse (DSP) mare (Landzauber x Corgraf) flawlessly, advancing to and completing the second phase of the 1.45m challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, tripping the final timers in 28.30 seconds.

Pius Schwizer (SUI) and Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet x Coleur Rubin R) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing only twelve-hundredths of a second slower than them.

Another Belgian earned a spot on the podium too, with Jérôme Guery (BEL) and Garfield Tiji des Templiers (Quasimodo Z x Goldspring de Lauzelle) doing so in 28.69 seconds.
