Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain – January 15, 2021 – Pius Schwizer (SUI) and Balou Rubin R powered to victory in the second €25,900 Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2* on Friday during the first week of the Spring MET I at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour.

The Swiss and the 2007 dark bay Oldenburg gelding (Balou du Rouet x Coleur Rubin R) were supreme in the two-1.45m phase challenge, advancing to and completing the second section without having any penalties attributed to them, stopping the final timers in 26.01 seconds.

Emilio Bicocchi (ITA) and Flinton (Clinton x Heartbreaker) also completed both phases flawlessly, securing the second position on the podium by tripping the final timers in 26.33 seconds.

Charlotte Leoni (FRA) and Venezia d’Elke (Toulon x Royal Feu) rounded out the top three after a clean scorecard, being timed in 26.64 seconds at the end of the course.
