Denis Lynch & Spring Dark Go Lightning Fast to Win at the Sunshine Tour CSIO 3*

Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – November 27, 2020 – There were around 550 horses out competing on Thursday in a busy day of jumping at the Sunshine Tour.  This is the final week of the Autumn Tour Series which finishes on Sunday.  The highlight events of this week’s competition occur tomorrow with the Nations Cup CSIO 3* and on Sunday with the big Grand Prix class, a qualifier for the Tokyo Olympics next year. 

In the CSIO3*, Big Tour 1.50m (FT) class, Irish rider Denis Lynch (IRL) took the win with a time at least a second faster than all other 74 entries. His time was 54.61 seconds on the lovely mare Spring Dark (Jazz Band Courcelle x Palestro II). 

Abdel Said (EGY) & Alanine de Vains

In fact the top three places in the class were taken by mares who registered no penalties.  In a comfortable second was Abdel Said (EGY) with Alanine de Vains (Allegreto x Adelfos) in 55.48 seconds.

Henrik Von Eckermann (SWE) & Glamour Girl

Third place was claimed by the very successful Swedish rider Henrik Von Eckermann (SWE) on the consistent Glamour Girl (VDL Zirocco Blue x Caletto I), timed in 57.80 seconds.
