Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – October 22, 2020 – Conor Swail (IRL) and GK Coco Chanel were the stars of the day on Thursday during the third week of the 2020 Vilamoura Champions Tour, speeding to victory in the €34,330 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 4* at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.
The Irishman and the 12-year-old bay Holsteiner gelding (Clarimo x Lerano 2) advanced to and completed the second phase of the 1.50m challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, crossing the finish line in 37.16 seconds for the victory.
Second place was claimed by Andreas Schou (DEN) and Quadrosson Ask (Quadros 3 x Carentan), the only difference being their final time of 37.53 seconds.
The third spot on the podium was claimed by another Irishman as Cameron Hanley (IRL) and ESI Toulouse (SIEC Livello x Quasimodo van de Molendreef), registering no penalites in 37.80 seconds.
