Oliva Nova, Spain – Harold Boisset (FRA) was the star of the day yesterday during the second week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour‘s Autumn Tour. The Frenchman claimed the two top spots in the Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2*, the Dammann Reitplatz- u. Sportplatzbau Trophy.
The Frenchman repeated his feat of last Sunday, when he was victorious aboard in the Grand Prix CSI 2* aboard Divine de la Roque. This time, he guided the 12-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood mare (For Hero x Kannan) flawlessly over all the 1.45m obstacles in the speed challenge, being timed in 61.40 seconds.
He was second aboard Katinka vh Valenberghof (Corland x Montender), crossing the timers just seven-hundredths of a second slower than his other mark.
Louise Saywell (GBR) and Bacardi (Numero Uno x Action Hero) rounded out the top three with no penalties and a time of 64.32 seconds.
