
Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, – October 08, 2020 – Derin Demirsoy (TUR) is a regular visitor at the Sunshine Tour and on Thursday, the Turkish rider celebrated two wins. In the competitive Big Tour Class CSI 3*, a one round 1.45m speed challenge, held in the grass at the David Broome arena, he had the fastest clear performance by a quite a distance.
The Turk and the 17-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Toulon x Vanitas), owned by Turkish Equestrian, teamed up for a blazing penalty-free effort in 62.6 seconds.
James Wilson (GBR) secured second place aboard Galway Bay JED (Romanov x Lux), owned by Rupert Nuttall, timed in who finished in 64.11 seconds. This pair were the winners of this same class last week.
Another of the top international riders that is competing here, Laura Kraut (USA) was third, riding Constable II (Harley x Lupicor) who is owned by Cherry Knoll Farm, going through the timers in 64.30 seconds.
