
Gorla Minore, Italy – September 20, 2020 – Anthony Bouquard (SUI) and Janus VB triumphed in the €55,000 Mascheroni Grand Prix CSI 3* yesterday during the Equieffe Classics at the Equieffe Equestrian Centre.
The Swiss and the 11-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Namelus R x Darco) were supreme in the 1.50m jump-off challenge, clearing all the obstacles for no penalties at the end of their two performances, completing the decisive one in 43.12 seconds.

Christoph Nothegger (AUT) and Twilight 2 (Cassini II x Carte d’Or) registered the second-fastest clear effort in the tiebreaker, going through the final timers in 43.85 seconds.

The host nation was represented on the podium by Francesco Turturiello (ITA), who teamed up with Quite Balou (Quite Capitol x Baloubet du Rouet) for the only other double clear score of the contest, being timed in 46.62 seconds.
