Alexander Butler & Chilli B Claim €26,600 Van Mossel Automotive Group Prize CSI 2* at Peelbergen

Kronenberg, The Netherlands – September 18, 2020 – Alexander Butler (IRL) and Chilli B triumphed in the Van Mossel Automotive Group Prize CSI 2* yesterday at the Equestrian Centre de Peelbergen (ECP).

The Irishman and the 13-year-old grey Dutch Warmblood stallion (Berlin x Cardento) registered the fastest clean jump-off effort amongst the 17 combinations that advanced to the jump-off, going through the final timers in 35.06 seconds.

One of the most consistent performers at the venue, Leon Thijssen (NED) rode Faithless MVDL (Ukato x Clinton) towards reserve honors in 35.95 seconds.

Sophie Hinners (GER) & Vittorio 8

Sophie Hinners (GER) and Vittorio 8 (Valentino Ddh x Ramiro’s Bube) rounded out the top with no penalties and a time of 36.29 seconds at the end of their tiebreaker effort.

This course really suited this horse”, the winner and rider for Milestone farm says just before heading into the prize giving ceremony. “After the double combination there was space to really make use of his big strides and go for it.”
