Jonathan McCrea (USA) moved up in the standings to join the Winner’s Circle for top honors in the $25,000 SmartPak Grand Prix aboard Fantasy BB last Friday. Just three riders made it to the jump-off and with a careful time of 56.918 seconds, even though it meant 2 time-faults, the American and the 10-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood mare (Cardento 933 x Indorado) claimed the blue ribbon.
Amanda Derbyshire (GBR) and Oasis Spirit (Cobra x Lux Z) were much faster than the eventual winners, but their time of 51.771 seconds came at the expense of four penalty-points, meaning that they had to settle for second place.
Jordan Coyle (IRL) and Picador (Lupicor x Concorde) had 3 poles down and two-time penalties after stopping the jump-off timers in 60.980 seconds, resulting into 14 penalty-points and the third spot on the podium.
