San Juan Capistrano, California, USA – July 25, 2020 – It was two for two as Nicole Haunert (USA) on Calgary IV claimed top honors in the Markel Horse Insurance Grand Prix last Saturday afternoon during Blenheim EquiSports‘ Racing Festival at Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park.

As the last ones to enter the ring, the American and the 12-year-old bay Holsteiner mare (Casall x Calato)  got the best of 9 other combinations, out of of 51 entries, that had qualified for the jump-off, clearing all the obstacles on Anthony D’Ambrosio‘s designed course.

Matt Archer (USA) and Luigi vd Bisschop claimed second place while Laura Hite (USA) and Chattanooga completed the podium.
