San Giovanni in Marignano, Italy – July 12, 2020 – Roberto Turchetto (ITA) and Baron were the winners of the Grand Prix CSI 2* yesterday during the Italian Summer Tour CSI 2* at the Horses Riviera Resort.

The Italian and the 14-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Colman x Numero Uno) advanced to and completed the 1.45m jump-off course without having any penalties attributed to them, securing the victory in 37.88 seconds.

Elia Matteo Simonetti (ITA) and Eistein (Clinton x Nimmerdor) were the runners-up, matching the winners’ double clear while registering a final time of 38.51 seconds for silver honors.

Third place was claimed by José Maria Larocca (ARG) and Finn Lente (Gaillard de La Pomme x Colandro), who had a clean scorecard too and stopped the jump-off timers just four-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
