Wellington, Florida – June 19, 2020 – Alberto Michan (ISR) swept the top two positions in the $10,000 Semican Open Stake last Friday during the ESP June Series at the Equestrian Village. The class took place in the Van Kampen Covered Arena due to rain and the Mexican-born rider who represents Israel was simply flawless.
Twelve combinations advanced to the jump-off, with Michan and his very own 10-year-old black Oldenburg mare (Conthargos x Quintender) were the fastest pair among the five double-clears, taking home first place in 40.413 seconds.
He also claimed second place, this time aboard Wolver Hollow’s Ictus D’Emma, timed in 41.127 seconds.
Alejandro Karolyi (VEN) rode Venitienne, owned by Karolyi Showjumping Inc. to third-place victory in 41.402 seconds.
